There is a new craze sweeping the U.S. custom painting scene......called Tru-Fire. Mike Lavallee was the pioneer of the current style of painting realistic flames. I painted this in my own style and am very happy with the results. The guitar has not been finished yet, but you can see how the colours shine out here with a flash, you get an even better effect with the guitar in sunlight or bright lights.... |

This is the first guitar I painted as a practice piece when I first started airbrushing.... every tiny detail was cut out to make my mask .... a process that made me a dab hand with a knife!!! |

A Fender Telecaster Deluxe, which I stripped of it's original black paint and gave it a tobacco sunburst with a slightly yellow binding, to give an antique appearance.
